This is my version of Hasslefree's meg. The miniature was just crying out for some freckles so I gave them to her :)
I made the lolly stand for the base
because she looked as though she was trying to make a difficult decision and I
figured lollies are pretty important to kids ;) Meg is a little over a
centimetre in height and was a joy to paint.
She placed 2nd in the Small Mini's section of the chick challenge v, so thank
you to everyone who voted. :)
Quoted from Jason's CCV page:
This is the second of the Hassle Free set (I wonder what the third, a boy, is up to?). While she lacks a bed, I believe this one is better painted. And Irene seems to have a real gift for figuring out what to do with the base so as to explain the miniature.
Just a cute idea and good execution. I can almost see the little angel and devil sitting on her shoulder – “Should I?”
FRECKLES!!!!
I'm not sure whether she looks cute, or like a spoiled brat. And am I imagining things, or do I really see freckles on her face?
Fantastic painting on such a small mini. You managed to add to the beautiful expression on the original sculpt. The box of lollies is a great addition next to the child too.
Nice model; cool highlights, you must have a shrink machine or something ;o)
The face on this one is very very well painted. It's a real kid’s face as I'd like to be able to paint.
