This is where you can find the assortment of sites I like to peruse. Some are really fantastic so, if possible, take the time to visit all of them. I learned a lot about painting from some of these sites, they are a handy resource for anyone who enjoys painting fantasy miniatures. There are also links to various stores I purchase from on the net!

MINIATURE MANUFACTURER'S & HOBBY STORES

Hasslefree Miniatures
Cute miniatures at great prices! There is a massive range of hasslefree miniatures and the customer service can't be faulted. I love the harem girls, lots of pretty flesh to paint ;) Hasslefree is definitely one of my favourite mini stores. 5 Ringo Starr's.

Spyglass Miniatures
Absolutely gorgeous miniatures, friendly service and the international shipping is pretty darn great too :) Steve Buddle never ceases to amaze me. I can't stress enough how beautiful his miniatures are. Magical fingers I say, magical!! 5 Ringo Starr's.

Newbold World Miniatures
Cute miniatures conjured up by the mind of the eccentric Ian Newbold. Yes, you heard me Mister, eccentric. ;)
These miniatures are perfect for my style of painting if you ask me. There's an entire world and game for these guys, so check out Ian's site. Five Ringo Starr's because I love the miniatures and Ian is a charming fella.

CustomHobby
This is Mike's site... actually there are two Mike's.. but... whatever. Want some custom built scenic items? Conversions? Dioramas? Want your figures painted? You can get all that stuff,  and more, here. There are galleries and all kinds of cool stuff to look at on the site. Check em out!

Dark Age Games
These guys make some really awesome miniatures. They also have forums, galleries, their online store and a news section. I think the Forsaken and the Dragyri miniatures are my favourites.
Five Ringo Starrs!

Crunch-Waffle Enterprises
Yes, the company has a funny name, but the miniatures are no laughing matter! Well, they are if they are cute and humourous miniatures, but thats not the point! Crunch-Waffle makes really cool miniatures, not only that but they have forums n stuff too! Neatoh. They get 4 Ringo's for now, once they've been established for a bit longer and I've ordered from them they will earn their final Starr :D

Stanbridge's Hobbies
These guys stock Testor's Model Master Matt Lacquer spray, which is awesome. They will also post it out to you, I'm guessing only if you live in Australia though. They also stock Francheville brushes and Woodland Scenics! Handy store with really helpful staff.

Heresy Miniatures
I haven't had the pleasure of purchasing any heresy miniatures yet so I can't really rate them for anything other than Andy being a lovely bloke. The site looks great and the miniatures look really fab. Ill give em 3 Starr's for the time being.

Cool Mini or Not
A miniature rating site, also has an online store for purchasing both miniatures and miniature related products and forums. Fun. I gave Cmon 4 Ringo Starr's because it's a handy auction tool and great inspiration. Oh the store occasionally had Hudson & Allen products in stock too.

Exodus Road Hobbies and Miniatures
These guys stock several miniature ranges, paints and other hobby stuffs. They hold competitions every once in a while and also have some online forums. They are friendly and their prices are competitive. I'm giving them 4 Starr's for now, once I've ordered from their site they will earn their final Starr!

Magnificent Ego's
Home to some pretty dynamic looking miniatures and a rather sexy looking site. Magnificent Ego's hosts an online store and their own forums, they also have a section on concept artwork and miniature casting and host contests regularly. The online store is also where you can find pictures of one of the miniatures i've painted - Galatius Aquatinus! I gave em 3 and a half Starr's cause I haven't ordered from there yet.

Fantascene has a large variety of gaming scenery that would suit any roleplaying / wargaming environment. They range from Hobbit Holes and Barrow Mounds to Gothic buildings and bits and pieces like gravestones and Statues. Fantascene is owned by a lovely chap named Geoff and, though I haven't purchased any scenery yet, I am sure the service you get will be prompt and friendly :) I'm going to give them 4 Starr's because the scenery is top-notch. Once I've ordered i'll update the score.

Ral Partha Europe Online
The Ral Partha Europe store. I actually quite like these miniatures. The only thing that gets to me about this site is that the photos are of unprimed miniatures so it's really hard to see the detail and the miniatures look a bit meh. I bought some, however, and they are really nice miniatures.
  Reaper Miniatures
You guessed it, the home of the rather extensive range of Reaper Miniatures. I haven't had the of painting many reaper miniatures so I'm just giving them 3 Ringo Starr's for now. I'll update this once I have painted more.
M.S.B. Toys
Man these guys make some fantastic looking creatures. I haven't actually bought any yet but there are plenty on my wish list! I just wish the prices were a little cheaper! That man with the monkey in his hat makes me giggle. Three Starr's for the moment, once I've bought some i'll update the rating accordingly. If the prices come down in the future they'll probably get to 5.
  Games Workshop Australian Online Store
Speaks for itself methinks. (unless you've been living under a rock for the past 500 years or so). The UK gw store is good for buying bits and pieces, too. Can't wait 'til australian gw has its bits for sale. I'm only giving GW 3 Ringo Starr's because they are expensive and the female miniatures tend to suffer from a bad case of Man-Face. Hell I gave em another 1/2 Starr because the new Arwen miniatures are beautiful.
The Art Shop
This is where I buy all my brushes now. They stock all the Francheville range and a several of the Winsor & Newton range. They are also Australia based and you'll get great service and correspondence. :)
  Gamers Quest
One of my favourite stores at the moment is Gamers Quest. They have fantastic service and great prices to compliment a huge range of miniatures and other products. I got a really good deal on an entire set of Vallejo Game Colour paints from these guys. You really can't fault their service. I will definitely be ordering from this store again :)
Rating Pending ~ GQ has recently merged with Tabletop Games, so I will have to order a few more things from them before I give a solid rating.

MINIATURE RELATED FORUMS

Tiny Souls Forum
My Tiny Souls forums. I get 5 Ringo Starr's because I am rad.

Jenova Project Forum
A large bunch of very friendly, very helpful, and some very skilled painters reside here on Jenova's boards. These would have to be my favourite boards at the moment. Aside from my own of course... *cough* Jenova's boards only get 4½ Ringo Starr's because no board is as good as mine.... NONE! Ok well it is, but let's pretend it's not.

Wargamer.au
Large Australian based set of forums for people who enjoy war-gaming and painting. For such a large board, the people are refreshingly friendly and helpful. I gave WAU 4 Ringo Starr's because the painting board is somewhat lacking and the sponsorship means you can't post links to painting or basing related sites without stepping on the sponsors toes, however if you are into the warhammer or other wargames, this is definately the board for you, especially if you reside in oz.

Waryammer Forums
So many friendly forums around the place. These guys are great, they even have the odd friendly painting competition. Plenty of boards to chat on and everyone is nice. Casual atmosphere, it's all good. I gave them 3½ Ringo Starr's but only because I only really chat in the painting section.

Forum of Doom!
The Heresy, Hasslefree and Spyglass Miniatures forum. You can get all the latest news on those miniatures on here. The people are cool too.

Frothers Unite! UK Forum
These guys are always posting the new releases on the forums so if you want to be in the know, or just plain love miniatures, this is definitely the place to be. They also have an extensive list of miniature sites in their links section of the main site. I love that thing. 4½ Ringo Starr's.

Reaper Message Board
These would be the Official Reaper boards. Lots of miniature pictures here if you like browsing other peoples stuff, then this is a good place to hang out. I don't post often, but it seems like an ok place.
