Mothers Bracelet

Postby Zordana » Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:17 pm

Lol first post in here.

Here's a bracelet I just made from sterling silver, glass lampwork beads, swarovski crystals, bali sterling daisies and swarovski pearls. :)

And a bigger image here.

The letters on the cubes are actually black, unfortunately the light in the lightbox makes them shine so you can't see that the letters are dark. I'll have to figure out how to take better photos of them.

I was gonna use topaz crystals because Ava was born in November but I thought the green matched the flowers leaves in the lampwork beads better.

I'm gonna make a second strand when I have another baby. Well, if I have another one. Haha.

I'm also gonna make Ava one, but it will have freshwater pearls instead of swars cos the swars are fully leaded crystal and I don't want her having a bracelet with lead in it.
I'll show you it when it's done. I just gotta find some nice feature beads for it that scream 'Avalicious'.

Wooh.

Yeah we saw a little girl at the park recently. I thought she was 1 year old or something similar, but she was one month younger than Ava.

She had no hair and was short, stocky and looked like she was still crawling. I was so surprised when her mum said she was Ava's age!

Very nice, I particularly like the very feminine look of Ava's little one...

What are you using to end the brecelets? The hooked ends before the jump rings? Gives a very nice finish to it all..
If you have poo ready, fling it now...
