I should have some miniatures up shortly, I just wanted to let you guys know that I reformatted my computer the other day and forgot to save my mailing list. Those of you who want to be on my notify list will have to re-email me if you don't get a notify email next time I post some minis up on my site. I'm trying to rebuild it, but I'm sure I have lost half of you!

Sorry I haven't updated in ages, I've had the flu for the last two weeks and am still getting over it. It's really annoying, I don't think I've ever had the flu quite this bad before, just when I think I am better, I get sick again. *stabs the flu in the face*

Anyway, I managed to pull my arse on here to update my gallery and hints section for you guys. I've added Kharn the Betrayer to my Space Marines section and Settra the Imperishable and a couple of Queen Khalida's to my Tomb Kings section. You can visit them by clicking on the thumbnails below. I also updated my hints section, made it a bit neater and added a short tutorial on painting vibrant reds.

There are still a couple of miniatures for sale in my for sale section and the forums are going on strong, so if you wanna come by for a chat and get some painting advice or just to say hello and show off some miniatures, feel free. Just click on the Forum menu up top.

Oh I also added CustomHobby to my links page. So go check them out.

Friday, May 20th, 2005
Ok so I am finally updating my site! Sorry about the delay, I've been ultra busy with some commission work and Michael was on holidays recently so I was busy doing yard work and going to the movies and all that exciting stuff I don't normally get to do.
I have three new miniatures in the gallery, first another set of Hasslefree Children that were painted for Mrs Hasslefree herself :) I love these kids, I swear I could paint them all day and wouldn't get tired.

Next we have a couple of Rackham miniatures;
Wandyr the Bloodthirsty, to the left and Kayl Kartan, to the right! Rackham miniatures are hell fun to paint. These were both commission jobs and I still have a few more commission jobs to complete before I can start painting some of those miniatures that Inge sent me!
Love you Inge :D

I still have a couple of miniatures for sale, if you are interested just check out my for sale section. The forums are getting more and more busy, thanks to all the regular posters for making it such a fun place to chat. If you need any painting advice or just want to chat with some fellow painters/sculptors/talented people, feel free to join up and say hello!

Hi guys. Several people were interested in finding out how I painted Lysanders armour so I've added an info section on his page, you can get to it by clicking the "Want to know more about this mini?" thumbnail on his page.

Saturday, April 23rd, 2005
I've added my CCIV Chick to the for sale page for any of you who are interested in purchasing her. She is a limited edition and I'm pretty sure she sold out recently, so she can't be purchased any more.
I also updated my Services page, removed a little of the dribble and made it easier to read... hopefully.

Don't forget to bid on Lysander, you can find a link to him on my Sale page as well!

Oh and don't forget about my forums! :)

Thursday, April 21st, 2005

I updated my menus, removed a couple and added a 'For Sale' section where you can find all the miniatures I am currently selling directly via my site or by auction on eBay. I will no longer be listing the miniatures I currently have for sale, instead just click on the 'Tiny Souls for Sale' menu and you can see everything that I am selling.

In other news, I painted my first GW 40k miniature! 'Captain Lysander' was originally intended for an online forum contest, but the entries had to be wearing Power Armour and, unfortunately, Lysander is wearing Terminator Armour. *dramatic reverb* Oh well, you get that. I actually have no idea what the difference is, I thought Termie armour was just upgraded Power Armour. Next time I'll research a little better ;)
Anyway, I am really pleased with how he turned out. He is pretty spiffy for a 40k character. I'm going to put him on eBay, hopefully this time I will remember to put a reserve on *facepalm*
If you would like to purchase him, or just check out the auction, all you have to do is go to my new 'For Sale' page. There is a menu up the top or you can click the link at the left.

I've updated my gallery to include some photos of a Reaper Miniature I painted for a lovely client named Sarah. The miniature represents her D&D character 'Azimuth' and was a pleasure to paint. You can find her in the new Reaper section of the gallery, or by clicking the image at the left.

In other news, I put my Hasslefree Meg up for sale on eBay last night. She was my 2nd place winner in the Small Minis section of the Chick Challenge V. My Priestess of Amun from Wargods of Aegyptus is also on sale through my site. All the links are in the left column.

  Monday, April 11th, 2005
Hey guys! I recently found out that the ever so lovely Editor of White Dwarf UK will be printing my Dragon Ogre Shaggoth in the 'Letters' section of Issue 308 (out July 29th). It's not a featured article or anything amazingly flashy like that, but I'm totally stoked. Guy Haley can have my love child if he so desires. ;)
*skips off*

Wednesday, April 6th, 2005
Hey guys, I've uploaded images of a few miniatures today. Firstly, a GW Dragon Ogre Shaggoth I've been painting on and off for a while now. He will be put up on eBay tonight so keep a look out for the ebay link in the For Sale section at the left. You can find him in the Beasts of Chaos section of the Gallery.

I also uploaded images of a Thunderbolt Mountain miniature I painted recently, 'Morgan Le Fay', she was my miniature for the Jenova Board miniature exchange. You can find her in the new Thunderbolt Mountain section of the Gallery.

Last, but not least, I also posted some images of 'Marianna Chevaux' from the GW Mordheim range. She was part of a commission job I worked on around a month ago, you can find her in the Mordheim section of the Warhammer miniatures in the Gallery.

Friday, April 01, 2005
I put one of my CCV entries up for sale on ebay today, my Shimmer. You can get to her page by clicking her image at the left, there is a link to the auction on her page. Or you can jump straight to the auction by clicking her link in the For Sale section in the left column. :)
And, in case you were wondering, no... this is not an April Fool's joke ;)

Tuesday, March 29th, 2005

I have uploaded some images of my latest painted miniature, a Priestess of Amun by Wargods of Aegyptus. You can find her in the gallery by clicking on the Wargods of Aegyptus menu, or just scan down to the 'new' images. She is currently for sale on eBay, you can get to the auction by clicking the link at the left! Hope you like her.

Sunday, March 27th, 2005
I uploaded Shimmer, the last of my CCV entries. You can find her in the Hasslefree section of the Gallery or by clicking the image at the left. I will be putting some of my Chick Challenge entries up for sale on eBay after easter. :)

Saturday, March 26th, 2005
I got some great news this morning, two of my Entries were winners in the Chick Challenge V painting competition! All up I placed three times :)

Now that I can, I've uploaded four of my five entries, CCIV Chick, L'Nissa, Meg and Jen. Meg came 2nd in the Small Mini's Category, Jen came 1st in Small Mini's and 3rd in the Display Base Category! You can check them all out by clicking on the images below. Some of them will be up for sale soon, if you have any inquiries feel free to email me. I also have one more entry 'Shimmer' who will be uploaded soon, I'm just going to put some flowers on the shrub on her base.

A huge thanks to Jason for hosting the competition and to all the people who took the time to vote. I look forward to taking part next year!
Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it!

Friday, March 18th, 2005
Ok well, I updated my gallery with some photos of a Hasslefree miniature called 'My Hero', it's also for sale on eBay at the moment. I'm pretty happy with how the miniature turned out, especially with the flesh work on the barbarian. You can see him in the new Hasslefree section of my gallery, or by clicking on the image to your left. The auction link is in the For Sale section.
I've also uploaded images of my latest commission piece, 'Ardokath' - a Rackham Confrontation miniature with a whole heap of filigree, heh. You can find him in the new Rackham section of my gallery or by clicking on the image at the left!

Jason just uploaded the names of the painters to the chick challenge site. You can all go find my miniatures on there, now. How exciting :)

I also decided to update my prices.

Monday, March 14th, 2005
I just updated my links section to include a hobby store called Stanbridge's Hobbies. They are a helpful hobby store in W.A. who happen to stock Testor's Model Master Matt Lacquer, and will actually post it out. This only really helps for people living in Australia, but hey, it's nice to finally have somewhere to buy some good Matt Varnish. They also stock Francheville Brushes and Woodland Scenics products.

Sunday, March 13, 2005
I reorganised my gallery section a little. I also uploaded photos of my new miniatures ~ Oonagh & Moondancer and Valentina & Warrior. They are from the Newbold World miniature range. I'm really proud of Moondancer, I think he came out quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Moondancer is the brown horse, for those of you wondering which horse I am talking about.

Shouldn't be too much longer before I can post my Chick Challenge miniatures on here. I can't wait to find out who painted what, there are some really gorgeous miniatures amongst the entries.

In the meantime I am working on a Rackham miniature for a client. I also have several GW miniatures lined up to be painted for another client. I should have a Hasslefree miniature in my gallery soon, I just have to base it. Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Thursday, March 10, 2005
Crikey, I'm really bad at this whole 'updating' thing aren't I...

I've been busy with commission work, but hopefully soon I will have some stuff up for sale. I plan on selling my Ral Partha painting contest entries. The two were joint winners due to the rather underwhelming amount of entries.

The entries for the Chick Challenge V are posted! Massive props to Jason for doing all that hard work for everyone. You can check out the entries here:
Chick Challenge V

I updated my Links page, it's still technically under construction, but it looks a lot neater now.

Saturday, February 26th, 2005
Nothing much to update you guys with lately. I've been working on several commission jobs, including Vlad and Isabella von Carstein and Marianna Cheveaux. There are also a few others but I will post them all up once they are done. Lord Kroak sold on ebay the other day so I have to get something else up there soon. I've assembled some of my precious dwarves, man those fellas are cute :)

Wednesday, February 16th, 2005
I've decided to throw Lord Kroak up on ebay instead, it's easier for me this way regardless of the ebay fees. It was also just brought to my attention that I typed the wrong year on Kroaks coolminiornot image... whoops, i'm a moron. :)

I added Hasslefree Miniatures and Gamer's Quest to my Links page.

Tuesday, February 15th, 2005
Updated my gallery with a section for Games Workshop Lizardmen miniatures and added LORD KROAK. He is currently for sale directly from my site, so go check out his photos and, if you wish to purchase him, just click on the paypal button that corresponds to your location!

I am almost finished with my Chick Challenge entries, all I have to do is a couple of bases. Can't wait to see everyone's final entries.

Wednesday, February 9th, 2005
Prince Tyrion is now up for sale on eBay, you can find the auction by clicking here!!

Tuesday, February 8th, 2005
Well, I found out that Prince Tyrion will be appearing in 'Darkson Designs Painting Guide, Volume 1'. Yay!

This means I will definately have to buy a copy when it is released in March. For anyone who is interested Tyrion will be up for auction on eBay shortly and I will send out emails to those of you on my mailing list when that happens.

I am in the middle of painting my Chick Challenge V entries and also another Warhammer miniature, 'Lord Kroak'. I had a bit of a slow beginning of the year, but I hope things will pick up now that I am feeling a little better and more like painting :)

In other exciting news, I'm looking into purchasing my first proper set of paints. Wow. A proper set of paints! Next thing you know I'll be buying a real palette instead of using a George Foreman Griller's fat tray...
Nah. ;)
But yes owning a full set of paints will be very very nice. If you have an opinion on either the Vallejo Game Color range or the Reaper Master Series range of paints, drop by my forums and spill the beans before I purchase one of them! Wish I could buy both but I don't have a spare $400aud lying around ;)

Cheerio!

Thursday, January 27th, 2005
My parents were over from Sydney for the past two weeks, so I haven't been able to do a thing in regards to painting and updating my site. That is, until today *dramatic reverb*

I've uploaded images of Prince Tyrion to the High Elf section of my Gallery. He comes complete with a display base which has been signed on the bottom.

UPDATE: I jumped the gun a little, sorry to anyone who expressed interest in Tyrion but he won't be up for sale just yet as I am waiting to see if he gets published in the gallery section of Darkson's painting guide vol 1. Once I find out, I will either sell him privately on here or will list him on ebay.

Cheers. Have a good weekend!

Wednesday, January 12th, 2005
Updated my gallery today with some lovely Ral Partha ladies. I'm entering them into a painting contest, until the conclusion of which they will not be for sale. If you have any enquiries about them feel free to email me.

I am almost finished with my Prince Tyrion. The display base just needs a little more work. I'm incredibly proud of this one, he came out beautiful - if I may say so myself. Here's a little teaser for you at the right. I know, I know, it's not much of a teaser but hey, you'll see him in due time anyway. I was actually planning on entering him into a contest but I found out today that gw miniatures weren't eligible to enter as the company hadn't given permission yet. It's a real shame, I was looking forward to entering him. I can still submit him to be in the gallery section of the book/magazine, but no competition to be on the cover. *quietly weeps*
Heh, as if I would have won anyway. *kicks the ground and sulks a little*

Just some of the other stuff I have on the worktable:
GW Lord Kroak, Rohan Riders, Warriors of Minas Tirith, Lich King on Chariot, and many more.
Ral Partha DSA Pardona
Spyglass L'nissa and Kaylee

Monday, January 3rd, 2005
I put some of my commission jobs up in the commission section of the gallery. You can get to them by clicking the thumbnails below.

I also have another set of miniatures for sale on eBay:
Lord of the Rings Witch King and Ringwraiths

Thursday, December 30th, 2004

My goodness, I haven't updated in ages! I lost my Office xp cd, luckily I have a friend with a copy *wink* Cheers mate.
I haven't had anything up on eBay lately, it's way too hot to paint at the moment, so I've just been finishing off a commission when I can find the time. Hopefully I can get some stuff up soon, though, as I have a lot of miniatures here that need painting!
Anyhoo, sorry about the lack of updates, I'll keep you posted from here on in. Hope you all had a nice christmas, all the best for the new year too!

Oh yeah, I threw up some images of the Dark Elf Manticore into the Dark Elf section of the gallery.

Saturday, December 11th, 2004
I haven't updated for ages, sorry about that. It's been rather hot so I haven't been painting as much as usual. December is always such a busy little month as well. So what do I have for you today, well I have a Games Workshop, Warhammer Dark Elf Manticore and Rider up on eBay at the moment. Just click on the rider's face to go to the auction. I will stick photos of him up later on. I'm hot and lazy right now. ;)

Wednesday, November 24th, 2004
I've uploaded a stack of commissioned pieces to the Gallery. You can find them in the Games Workshop commission section. Miniatures include Vlad and Isabella Von Carstein, a Hunchback, Neferata, and a Casket of Souls.
I also have some scorpion swarms and a coffin from the Black Coach to go up, if I can find my photos.

Friday, November 19th, 2004
New miniature for sale in the Spyglass section of the gallery.
Si'Rene has been rebased onto a warhammer base and I am pretty happy with the results. You can find her and the ebay links here.

Uploaded images of my second Blood Dragon Vampire with a flaming sword to the gallery, he can be found here.

Uploaded images of Inge from the Spyglass range, she was my entry in the Jenova Ego contest and has already been sold. You can find her here.

~ Sunday, November 7th, 2004 ~
I uploaded pictures of my Necrarch Vampire and Familiar. They were both sold on eBay recently. I was lazy and didn't upload pics. They can be found here.

I also uploaded pictures of a commission piece I did for a client in the United States. It was a lotr Mounted Theoden and was based on the base I made for my basing tutorial. How spesh. ;) You can find him here.

I also finished my second Blood Dragon Vampire on foot. This one is special, you'll see why when I post pictures soon.

Cheers, hope you all had a good weekend.

~ Friday, November 5th, 2004 ~
Whoops, I haven't updated in ages. Sorry about that. I've been feeling a little crook lately and have been busy with some commission work - hence the shocking lack of ebay miniatures of late. I'm painting a blood dragon vampire whilst I work on the commissions so hopefully he will be up soon. Till then, you can bid on Inge, my Jenova Ego Contest entry, if you wish.

Anyone out there have any latest edition Dwarf stuff? I'm thinking of getting into the game side of things and want to start a Dwarf army, unfortunately it will take me ten years to purchase one if I buy them retail, so if you are looking to sell some new unpainted dwarf stuff, let me know.

~ Sunday, October 17th, 2004 ~
Finally finished my Black Coach and have uploaded
it to my Gallery. It's also on eBay and CoolMiniOrNot.

Oh, and don't forget to swing by my Forums!!

~ Monday, October 11th, 2004 ~
Unfortunately id set up the cookie for my forum incorrectly and people were unable to login or out. Whoops.
The problem has been rectified... I hope.

~ Saturday, October 9th, 2004 ~
New images have been uploaded to the gallery. A Mounted Lahmian Vampire that will be going up on ebay tomorrow, and my latest Rohan Riders. Enjoy.
We now have 5 forum member yeeeeeehaww. *chuckle*

~ Friday, October 8th, 2004 ~
The forums are up and running. Yay for everything!

~ Thursday, October 7th, 2004 ~
I'm in the process of making some small forums for my site. The link is up in the menu and should be working shortly.
My contact details can now be found in the "About Zordana" section

~Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 ~
Added a basing tutorial in the Tips & Hints section called "Basic Forest Base in Ten Basic Steps".
Added larger photos of Mannfred Von Carstein to the Gallery Vampire Counts section. Very happy with him. Hope you enjoy!
:)

~ Tuesday, September 28th, 2004 ~
I'm refining my price list on my services page. Changing a couple of prices and mainly restructuring it so it isn't as confusing. Been meaning to do this for a while but couldn't be arsed.

I also made a shop because I was bored, I'll be adding the link as a menu and combining my Miniature Links and Other Links on the one page.

I'm also going to be adding that Commission section to the gallery shortly... unless Ive already done it and forgotten... *weird look*.

Oh yeah and I might make a menu for current auctions and stuff.

Peace :) Zor.

~ Sunday, September 26th, 2004 ~
I just uploaded my Blood Dragon Vampire. He is in the Gallery Vampire Counts section.

I fixed my gallery page so it wasn't wasting so much space. It looks a lot neater now too. Hope you like it.

I also hope you enjoy the Blood Dragon vamp! :) He's up on Coolmini, as is the strigoi I uploaded the other day so feel free to go vote on him.

~ Friday, September 24th, 2004 ~
Just uploaded my second Strigoi Vampire. He is also available on eBay if anyone is interested :)
I've also uploaded Frodo Baggins. He's such a small little bugger, it's really hard to get good photos of him. Oh well.

I finished my commisson recently so I will be updating the site with photos of those miniatures too. I might make a commissions section in the gallery or something. Not sure yet.

~ Tuesday, September 21st, 2004 ~
My latest miniature has been uploaded to the Gallery under the Empire section. Valten, Champion of Sigmar. Yay. I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out and I hope you like him.

~ Saturday, September 18th, 2004 ~
I just uploaded some images of a Lahmian vampire I recently sold on eBay. Apologies to anyone who came here looking for larger versions of the images. I totally forgot to update.

I'm almost done with my large Tomb Kings / Vampire Counts commission so I should have some miniatures up on eBay soon enough and I will be able to take on another commission shortly.

I'm in the middle of a Valten (Empire), the one on foot who looks cool. I'm also in the middle of Mannfred Von Carstein (still), a Rohan Rider that I'm not very happy with and I have a whole stack of miniatures primed ready for painting. Those include a Black Coach, which I am looking forward to painting. Some Rohan warriors, an old-school lahmian on horseback whose face needed to be filed a little *shakes her fist*, and various other minis.

My bretonnian box and extra pegasus knights was delivered this week. Joy. Thanks to Nick from NuGaming for the swift posting of said items. I plan on painting up the Pegasus Knights in various themes. One shall be Air/Water, one shall be Fire and one shall be Earth/Nature. That's my idea anyway, we shall see how I fare later on. Oh I also purchased some blank wood coasters from Bunnings craft section which I plan on turning into pretty display bases for the pegasus knights and other minis. Should be fun. I just need to purchase some more putty.

In other news I splashed some boiling oil on my hand whilst frying chips (fries). I suck. So does my hand. *whimper* When I touch it, it's all 'ooh, ooh, ouchies'. *shakes a fist again*

Anyway, I hope you all are having a nice weekend. :)

~ Tuesday, August 31st, 2004 ~
I just uploaded images of my latest mini, a Beasts of Chaos Beastlord. He can be found in the Tiny Souls gallery. Now I am off to paint some Tomb Kings stuff and a couple of Lahmian vampires for a nice guy I met on eBay. *trots off*

~ Sunday, August 29th, 2004 ~
Argh!! Apologies to anyone who has been trying to view my pages and hasn't been able to, I made a boo boo. It's all fixed now. Should be anyway... I hope.
*bangs her head against the table*

~ Saturday, August 28th, 2004 ~
I uploaded photos of my Rider of Rohan and three Men of Rohan, which are for sale on eBay. I might put some larger pics up later, I think I am getting a 24hr bug or something. I feel like poo so I don't wanna be sitting on here all day.

~ Wednesday, August 25th, 2004 ~
There are now pictures of the High Elf Tiranoc chariot in the Tiny Souls Gallery. I hope you enjoy browsing them.
I'm in the middle of Mannfred Von Carstein and 3 Men of Rohan.

~ Tuesday, August 24th, 2004 ~
My High Elf Tiranoc Chariot is finally finished and up on eBay. I meant to update my gallery with larger images of the miniature, however my computer decided to crash about a gazillion times so I will be uploading the images tomorrow. Sorry for anyone who popped in to check out the larger pics. Don't worry, though, I'll be off to bed soon and will upload them first thing tomorrow.
Next thing on the list is Mannfred Von Carstein. So far I've done his face, shirt, and a bit of his cloak. Yay.
Goodnight all.

~ Monday, August 23rd, 2004 ~
I updated the site today. I've been meaning to do it for a while since a friend of mine created a gorgeous little imp for me to use as a logo. I lub you.
The reason I updated today, though, was because I accidentally broke my old menu interface. Whoopsies.
I recently posted my latest mini - a Bretonnian Questing Knight. He turned out fairly cool looking, so check him out in the Tiny Souls Gallery section of my site.
I am currently working on a High Elf chariot, it's coming along nicely, I probably should have posted some 'in progress' pictures, but I didn't think of it till it was too late. If you guys wanna see some photos like that, let me know and I will endeavour to take some when I start a new mini.

~ Sunday, August 22nd, 2004 ~
I uploaded my Painting Services page, so if any of you people perusing my site would like me to paint something for you, it's there to give you an idea of the cost. The prices are pretty reasonable and are based on time and detail. I like to paint all my miniatures to a standard I am happy with so I haven't bothered with a separate price section for 'basic' paint jobs.
If you have any questions at all about anything, feel free to email me. My email is listed on the Contact Zordana page, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have regarding my miniatures, site, commissions, or my dog Griever.
