There were two main reasons I created this site, the first
being that I wanted to make a catalogue of sorts of all the miniatures I have
painted and have pictures of. I have been selling some of them
on eBay and figured it might be nice if people recognised my name and could be
satisfied they were buying a good quality miniature.
Though I have been painting miniatures on and off for several years (I painted a couple to use in DnD campaigns and I painted an Orc when I was a young teen), I began painting seriously in '04. Prior to that I had only been painting the odd miniature here and there to use as dnd figures. I've always considered myself a 'neat' painter, but in '04 I began teaching myself the more advanced painting techniques. I didn't only want my miniatures to look neat, I wanted them to look pretty as well :) I'm pleased with the progress I have made and I think I have successfully achieved a 'neat and pretty' look in regards to my miniatures *chuckle* I don't regard myself to be a 'professional' miniature painter though, I guess, in a sense I am - considering this is my only source of income! Regardless of how you class me, I do believe the quality of my work speaks for itself. I paint miniatures because I love the end result. It's almost like I can give a miniature their own tiny personality or soul, just by adding a touch of colour.
Once you paint them they come alive!!
It's true... *creepy look* Ok so maybe they don't, but let's just pretend they do because it's more fun that way.
When I am not painting miniatures I enjoy
chatting with friends on the net, playing dnd, reading fantasy novels,
watching b-grade horror and scifi movies and eating stuff. Mmm stuff.
